Cyclope Internet Filtering Proxy monitors the entire Internet traffic and blocks the access to websites and files according to the chosen filter. The requested web pages are displayed only if they comply with the specified filters.

Web Sites - Block URL Filter

The Websites filter blocks Web Sites from being displayed. You can choose to block all websites except for a white list or you can choose to allow all websites except for a black list.

Keywords & Profiles - Keyword Filter

For enhanced protection, Cyclope Internet Filtering Proxy keyword filter prevents from being displayed web pages containing within their body the specified word or a group of letters.

Predefined Profiles allows you to block content specific web sites, such as adult, warez, hacking and virus infected web sites. More to come in the near future

Multilanguage Support – allowing non-English words to be added in the block list so that non-english websites can be restricted as well.

Files & Extensions - Application & Archive Filter

This filter blocks access to different file types such as: .exe, .bat, .zip, .rar, .avi, .mpg, .mp3 etc. Archives, applications or audio-video files are stopped from being downloaded.

Cyclope Internet Filtering Proxy also provides the possibility of adding custom extensions in the block list.

Web Object - Flash & Cookies Filter

Web Object Filter - Blocks Shockwave and Flash objects from running, incoming cookies from being set on your computer and outgoing cookies from being read from your computer.
